ABOUT the emerging developer academy

  The Emerging Developer Academy (EDA) is a national capacity-building initiative designed to train, mentor, and support a new generation of community-rooted real estate developers. While our program operates on a national scale, our model is centered around place-based cohorts, focusing on equipping participants with the skills, resources, and networks necessary to build high-quality, affordable housing in historically underinvested neighborhoods.

EDA combines intensive training with hands-on development opportunities, empowering individuals to lead projects that foster stable housing, economic opportunity, and neighborhood resiliency.
